Spin on a Piece of History! 10,000+ Year Old Spindles

Jonathan has made a very limited group of his beautiful top whorl spindles from pre-historic Wooly Mammoth tusk. Yes, it's really pre-historic wooly mammoth tusk!

This is one of the most beautiful spindles I've ever seen... so dainty and delicate-looking. It glows with an inner light. And, beauty aside, it spins wonderfully.

The colors range from ivory, to cafe au lait, to mocha, with many gradations in between, each with unique and distinctive markings. Whorls are 2" in diameter, with finished weights from .95-1.25 oz. The price is based on our materials cost at the time we begin your spindle plus Priority Mail/Signature Confirmation. The wait is approximately 2 years. The schedule fluctuates, but we are working steadily.

We are not taking names for this list at this time.  We need to work through the very lengthy backlog of orders first.
