Our Maxis™ are perfect for beginners or for thicker yarns. They also make excellent plying spindles. Let us know your preference or ask what is in stock when you order.

Colors may vary by monitor; different boards have varying color intensities and grain. 

These Maxis™ are finished with Orford Cedar shafts and ready to go.  

Weight guide: 35 g = 1.25; 45 g = 1.6 oz, 56 g = 2 oz

32-36 g:   Cherry
37-40 g:   Birds Eye Maple
41-44 g:   Birds Eye Maple, Red Oak
45-48 g:   Canarywood, Zebrawood

USPS rates increased slightly on January 4, 2010.  Domestic shipping for a 1-pound package is $5.30-6.10, depending on postal zone; $5.20 when a USPS Flat Rate envelope or small box is appropriate.

International packages are sent by USPS 1st Class International (Charkhas & Journey Wheels sent by Priority or Express Mail with insurance), $4.55 to Canada for a 12 oz package; $9.50 to Europe, Asia and Australia.  A shipping estimate is always included with confirmation of your order.
