Narrow 2" diameter whorl on a 7 1/2" shaft
Weight range: 10-15 g/.35-.53 oz, depending on the wood.  Just the thing for luxury fibers like silk, silk blends, cotton and fine wools!

These spindles are finished with Birch shafts, ready to test and send:

Under 10 g:  Walnut
10 g:  Cherry
11 g:  Cherry
12 g:  Lacewood
13 g:  Cherry, Tiger Maple, Zebrawood
14 g:  Cherry, Paduak, White Oak
15 g:  Canarywood, Zebrawood
16+ g:  Purpleheart, Zebrawood

Shaft Options: Cherry or Walnut shafts, please add $5 and allow at least 2 weeks waiting time.
Hand-turned hardwood shaft, $15, in Bloodwood, Bocote, Cochin Rosewood, Kingwood, Morado, or Tulipwood.  We do our best to finish these as quickly as possible; please allow at least 2 weeks waiting time.

Premium Featherweights: On occasion, we use limited-availability woods as they strike Jonathan's fancy. Finished Premium Featherweights are priced at $48-53 each for a standard Birch shaft; $60-65 with a hand-turned shaft. We're happy to to suggest a wood to complement or contrast with the whorl of your choice. Please note that price for Premium Featherweight Spindle is initially set to $48; if the spindle you chose costs $53 we will adjust your bill accordingly. If the wood you are looking for is not currently available, we'll put you on our Wish List.

Shipping costs will be added on our end; Priority Mail begins at  $5.20/1 pound package within the US; we will provide an USPS estimate on International orders.  We will confirm the final costs prior to requesting payment.
