Jonathan hand turns these spindles in a variety of native and exotic hardwoods. Sheila polishes the whorls and tests all spindles for balance. Our most popular wood choices include Zebrawood, Purpleheart, Birdseye Maple, Canarywood and Tulipwood; we have many more to offer. Our 'Special Spindles' include such rare and exotic woods as Rosewoods, Black and White Ebony, Black Palm or Karelian Birch, in limited production. Our selection varies as woods are available to us, which means not all woods are in stock at all times. Let us know if you are looking for a particular wood — we'll add you to our Spindle Wish List.
